Aquamarine dress ring 18ct rose gold

Natural 5 ct clear blue aquamarine, mounted in 4 claws cast from 18 ct rose gold with pave set diamond shoulders.

Story behind the ring design

The lady was getting married and wanted to wear something blue. She had this beautiful clear blue Aquamarine mounted as a bar brooch (which you can see here in the gallery)  An item she inherited for an Aunt but never wore. We looked at various different ways of setting the aquamarine and from the options we presented, the customer decided on the simplest desing in Art Deco style with micro set diamond shoulders so as not to detract form the magnificent the Aquamarine. 18ct  Rose Gold, was chosen as a rich contrasting colour to bring out the blue to the best effect.
